It is with great honour to announce that the #𝗩𝗮𝗮𝗹𝗛𝗶𝗽𝗛𝗼𝗽 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 that took place at AFRO-BRU Maboneng on the 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 has been officially nominated for BEST EVENT in the Gauteng Province at the MZANSI ARTS & MEDIA AWARDS 2021/2022.
The Awards were open for public voting from the 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟯𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, and we are still awaiting the announcement of the 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀.
The event was headlined by the 𝗠𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹 of 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗹𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, who was also honoured by the Master Class for being one of the main influences behind #VaalHipHop and #SAHipHop at large.
In addition, BEAT PRESENTATIONS were added to the lineup to illustrate the foundation of what makes the HIP-HOP SOUND to be what it is.
This nomination serves as the first for the #VaalHipHop Movement at large, showing growth, strength, hunger for the movement to make its mark in the industry, as well as great potential through unity and teamwork to dominate and feel the presence of #VaalHipHop.
In the words of the 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗮, “Let’s rally up a couple of friends and HIJACK THE INDUSTRY”. We can achieve this by casting our votes in numbers. The time to fulfill the prophecy has arrived, and this is only the BEGINNING.
