Raw Beats, a prolific Producer, Engineer and one of the Key Elements behind the hip hop scene in the Vaal, penned a heartfelt letter to the #VaalHipHop Community. It reads as below:

Dear #VaalHipHop Family,

As we reflect on the journey of our vibrant hip hop scene, it’s impossible to ignore the ups and downs that have shaped our community. The passion, the talent, and the fierce competition have all played a role in defining what #VaalHipHop is today. While we’ve seen our fair share of beefs and rivalries, it’s essential to recognize how these challenges have ultimately paved the way for growth, collaboration, and innovation.

The beefs that have emerged within our scene have often been intense, fueled by pride and the desire to assert one’s place in the industry. Artists have clashed, and tensions have flared, leading to moments that seemed divisive. However, rather than tearing us apart, these conflicts have sparked conversations and brought attention to our talent. They have forced us to confront our differences and, in many cases, have led to a deeper understanding of one another’s artistry.

What’s remarkable is how these rivalries have failed to destroy our community. Instead, they have opened doors. Artists who once viewed each other as competitors have found ways to collaborate, creating music that blends their unique styles and perspectives. These partnerships have not only enriched our sound but have also fostered a sense of unity that transcends individual egos.

We’ve witnessed the birth of new working relationships that have emerged from the ashes of conflict. Collaborations between artists who once had beef have resulted in powerful tracks that resonate with fans and showcase the strength of our collective talent. These projects have highlighted the importance of coming together, proving that our differences can be a source of inspiration rather than division.

Moreover, the spirit of competition has driven many of us to elevate our craft. The desire to stand out has led to innovative approaches to music production, lyricism, and performance. As we push each other to be better, we create a dynamic environment that fosters creativity and growth. This competitive spirit, when channeled positively, can lead to groundbreaking collaborations that redefine our sound and expand our reach.

As we move forward, let’s continue to embrace the lessons learned from our past. Let’s celebrate our individuality while recognizing the power of collaboration. The #VaalHipHop scene is rich with potential, and by working together, we can create a legacy that honors our roots while pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

In closing, I urge each of you to reflect on the relationships you’ve built and the collaborations you’ve embarked upon. Let’s keep the dialogue open, support one another, and continue to uplift our community. Together, we can ensure that #VaalHipHop remains a force to be reckoned with, not just in our region but on a global scale.

With respect and admiration,

EasternVille Welcomes A New Resident

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗣𝘀𝘆 has found a comfortable home in the village of greatness.
The iconic move is one for the books as the adroit wordsmith has recently penned a profitable deal with the fast growing entertainment stable, 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰.

EasternVille Music is a Vaal based record label that boasts different shades of talent through blue-blooded entertainer, 𝗞𝘅𝗻𝗴 𝗕 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁; red-hot emcee, 𝗟𝗲𝗾𝗵𝘄𝗮; and seasoned producer with the grey matter, 𝗥𝗮𝘄 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀.

The company was established in 2019 but only rocked the floor in 2021 with a series of ground breaking achievements.

After claiming a sizeable stake in the music field, a game-changing acquisition was on the cards.
What better way to captivate minds and touch souls than adding psychic readings to your subjects?
𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 “𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗸𝗶𝗤” 𝗠𝗼𝗸𝗵𝗼𝗯𝗼 who now goes by the stage name of WorsePsy is the latest addition to the proficient roster of EasternVille Music.

The Sharpeville born rapper has cemented his place with verse construction skills that paint pictures with words and build spirits with messages. In terms of the value of his lyricism, the writing is on the wall.
Music is indeed a universal language because WorsePsy connects different types of audiences by fusing interchangeable English and Sotho rhymes to narrate his heartfelt and relatable stories.
In 2015, he released an EP titled 𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘆, and that way has eventually led him to the productive studios of EasternVille Music. And if the title of his last offering, 𝗘𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗣 (2018) is anything to go by, then his seat at the new table is permanent.

The startling announcement of his acquisition was made earlier today at a press conference that was conducted by EasternVille Music at the plush offices of global music giants, Sheer Publishing.
𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 has a reputable clientele that consists of widely celebrated local artists such as Cassper Nyovest, DJ Switch, Kelly Khumalo, K.O, Lira, Zahara and the late Oliver Mtukudzi.

Internationally, the organization represents the publishing interests of powerhouses like Warner Chappell which houses Dr Dre and Lil Wayne, Hill Song Publishing and Concord Publishing.
EasternVille Music and Sheer Publishing came to an administration agreement in mid-2021 – a deal that has since seen the latter being officially responsible for the worldwide copyright representation of the former.

The historic deal between the two entities will greatly benefit WorsePsy as Sheer Publishing will be responsible for the collection/tracking of his royalties and pitching his music for opportunities that are tailored for his compositions.

After a three year hiatus, WorsePsy came back into the mix late last year (2021) with blistering features from his fellow hip-hop artists.

He showcased how lethal his artistry was by 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 (𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲) 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗠𝗼 on 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗕𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝗲 𝗕𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 album; and proceeded to use the same weaponry to cut the cake on 𝗠𝗳𝗮𝘇𝗶 𝗪𝗮𝗸𝗵𝗼 from the same body of work.

Furthermore, he found a peaceful setting with 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗤 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁.
He then bagged a cheque with 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗦𝗮𝗺 on 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗟𝗶 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘁𝘀𝗼 album and embarked on an unremitting path with 𝗦𝘂𝗯 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘇 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗸𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗹𝗯𝘂𝗺.

Although this article is coming to an unfortunate end, the story continues on 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 as WorsePsy creatively recounts the episodes that have incessantly hampered his progress in recent years.
The first installment of 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 is a single titled 𝗦𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗼 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲 that mentions the losses that he has endured over the past few years, including that of his dear mother.

When the heart bleeds over records, the music DNA determines family – WorsePsy has found one in EasternVille.
